In addition to unveiling the new Kai 1 Team model, Anta has confirmed the signing of Irving's Dallas Mavericks teammate Daniel Gafford, along with Los Angeles Clippers forward Derrick Jones Jr. and Cleveland Cavaliers guard Caris LeVert.

Irving’s former teammates Caris LeVert and Derrick Jones Jr. will wear the new ANTA KAI 1 shoe, as will Dallas center Daniel Gafford.

Kyrie Irving and Anta have announced the third iteration of his performance basketball shoe along with three new endorsers from the NBA. The Anta Kai 1 Team follows the original Anta Kai 1 and the lighter Kai 1 Speed.
