Three ethnic Serbs pleaded not guilty in a Kosovo court on Wednesday to terrorism charges in connection with a 2023 shooting attack in which gunmen infiltrating from Serbia stormed a village and shot dead a police officer.

A Kosovo court has opened a trial of 45 people charged over a gunfight following an incursion by heavily armed Serb gunmen last year.

A total of 45 people have been charged after dozens of armed gunmen attacked Kosovo police and barricaded themselves in an Orthodox monastery in September last year, setting off an intense daylong gun battle that left three people dead.
