Analogue, the retro hardware emulation company, has officially delayed the Analogue 3D, its Nintendo 64 console. However, it released the first images of the console to tide us over until it launches next year.

If you grew up playing Nintendo 64 games, you probably remember playing them on a CRT TV instead of an LCD or LED. The Analogue 3D promises to capture the "warmth, depth, and texture" offered by CRT TVs through subtle scanlines and a simulated phosphor glow, which tube TVs are known for.

Analogue has already mastered the modern version of the 1980s GameBoy with its own iteration dubbed the Analogue Pocket. For its next piece of hardware, the company has unveiled its take on the Nintendo 64.
