Police say a beloved music figure is the victim of a brutal killing in New York City. A co-worker found P. Fluid (real name Peter Forrest) dead on Monday, according to the New York Daily News. An unknown person or persons beat the 64-year-old former 24-7 Spyz vocalist to death.
Arrest made in beating death of ‘90s rock band frontman
Billboard.com reported that police took Sharief Bodden, 29, into custody on Friday, January 17 and charged him in the killing of Forrest. He reportedly faces charges of murder, manslaughter, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.
