Drivers stranded by snow had to be rescued overnight Friday in New Mexico as a potentially historic winter storm had dumped more than 3 feet of snow on New Mexico and Colorado, with more to come.
Friday is expected to be a cold and soggy day, but the same weather system producing heavy rainfall is also creating snow in far west Oklahoma and across portions of New Mexico and Colorado.
