Montgomery police and fire medics were dispatched at 9:09 a.m. Sunday to a report of a person dead in the 1600 block of South Holt Street.

At about 9:09 a.m., police and fire medics went to the 1600 block of South Holt Street after a report of someone dead, said Lt. David Wise, a spokesman for the Montgomery Police Department. Charles Harris, 59, was found and pronounced dead, he said.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. ( WSFA) - One person has been arrested after a 59-year-old man was found dead Sunday morning in Montgomery. According to police, officers and fire medics were called to the 1600 block of South Holt Street just after 9 a.m. in reference to a person found dead.
