The main Pixel Camera 9.7 update rolled out in December 2024 as part of the Feature Drop. Google this week released version 9.7.047.7 10329721.21 (versus 9.7.047.7 02121536.18) via the Play Store.
but Honor makes the camera experience easy to use and intuitive, which is a big win for me. If you were to hand me a Pixel 9 Pro and an Honor Magic 7 Pro, I would choose the Pixel phone.
