Sears, the US department store chain, will stop selling most Whirlpool appliances following a dispute over pricing. The move ends a sales partnership that started more than a century ago.

In the decades that followed, the brand -- which was owned and operated under the Sears umbrella -- expanded its appliance offerings ... such as Whirlpool, LG, Frigidaire, GE, and more.
