Alabama football picked up a much-needed addition through the transfer portal in a super talented running back

Alabama players received a five-day window to enter the transfer portal following the end of the 2024 season. The campaign came to an end Tuesday, when UA lost the ReliaQuest Bowl to Michigan.

A five-star recruit by On3 out of Bloomingdale, Fla., Hall committed to Alabama in 2021 but left the program after being suspended by Nick Saban in April 2022 for violating team rules. He had four catches for 72 yards in his freshman season at Alabama in 2021.

The Boston College Eagles football program has picked up Alabama transfer tight end Ty Lockwood out of the transfer portal. “Alabama tight end Ty Lockwood has signed with Boston College, @On3sports has learned,” said On3Sports transfer portal reporter Pete Nakos via X. “Former four-star recruit reunites with QB Dylan Lonergan.”

Amari Jefferson is a crucial addition for the Vols, who lost five receivers to the portal in December. Jefferson should compete for a starting spot.

According to a report Tuesday from Matt Zenitz of 247Sports, the Alabama Crimson Tide are targeting former player and Tuscaloosa native Jason Jones for an assistant defensive backs coaching role with the program.
