Gov. Brian Kemp has declared a statewide emergency ahead of severe winter weather expected to hit the state on Friday, Jan.

This spring semester, the University of Wyoming introduces its Winter Welcome program Thursday, Jan. 16, to aid new students as they arrive at UW.
