Subnautica 2 was announced yesterday, and more info has arrived on Unknown Worlds Entertainment's sequel, and fans are talking about early access.

The sequel to the hugely successful Subnautica is creeping ever closer into the light, and we got our first proper look at it during Xbox's partner showcase event on Thursday. The Subnautica 2 reveal trailer opens by cutting between a zonked-out diver in the depths with a low-oxygen warning flashing on their helmet and a colorful Finding Nemo-esque coral biome.

During yesterday's Xbox showcase, we learned that Subnautica 2 is hitting Early Access next year, and it'll bring a new spooky underwater world to explore.
